I went to the 98º Revelation
tour on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at the
Worcester Centrum Center! It was amazing! I had so much fun! Here is my 98º
experience:
Me (Jackie) and my friend Leah headed to the concert at like 2:30, before we
get on the highway we stopped at the store by my house to get a couple things
for the ride, as we were going into the store I realized I left the tickets
at my house! So we get our stuff at the store and turn around and went back
to my house to get the tickets. Once we had the tickets we went on out way!
When we got to the Centrum center (were the concert was) at like 5, we parked
and went and hung out by the tour buses. We saw one of the dancers for
Debelah Morgan, he was cute! He was nice enough, he said hi but didn't stop!
We saw Debelah Morgan get off her bus, we said hi to her but she just like
mumbled to hi to us and didn't even look at us! Then we say another for
Debelah, he like the other one was nice enough, he said hi but kept
walking! After that we started talking to one of the crew members for the
BaHa men and we were like "yea we have always wanted to see inside a tour bus
like theirs" and the guy let us on! We couldn't go deep into the bus but he
let us up the stairs into the front part and we met one of the guys from the
group (he plays the keyboard I don't know his name but he was really nice)!
So when we got off the bus we saw more of Debelah Morgan's back up dancers,
the twins, they are SO GORGEOUS! We said hi and they stopped and talked to
us, we all flirted a little! They were so sweet! They let us take their
pictures! They are so awesome! I am so in love w/ them! They are beyond fine!
Then we waited around a little more and nothing was going on so we went in
and found our seats, they were better than I thought they would be! they had
all the floor sections and then like these like elevated levels but it was
practically on the floor, maybe a foot off the floor and we were 4 rows back
on the barely elevated levels! the seat were decent, they could have been
better though! Once we knew where our seats were me and Leah walk around a
little, we saw Nick and Drew's brother, I felt really cheesy but i took his
picture! LOL We walked around and then I was like I gotta go pee but the
lines were SO LONG! So I was like "I wanna use the boys room, I don't feel
like waiting in line", just after I said that I over heard some girl say the
same thing about the men's room so i turned around and said "I will go in if
you do" will so we did! We like walked in like normal and I yelled out "girls
in the boys room" and just found and empty stalls and went the bathroom!
After mE and the other girl came out of our stalls we took our pics by the
urinals! LOL We were being so cheesy! The concert finally started, Debelah
Morgan was up first! Her dancers were incredible! She has four dancers I met
all of them, but the twins are my favorites! I love them so much! I took so
many pictures of them! They are so awesome! I went nuts for them! They had
there shirts off and they were just so yummy! I was loving it! I didn't
really pay much attention to Debelah's singing, just the dancers! LOL The
only songs I could remember her singing were Dance With Me and Close to You!
Close to You was a slow song and the dancers had no shirts on, I wanted to
die they had the nicest bodies! After Debelah Morgan was Dream, they did
really good! They sang 4 or 5 songs! They were nice, I like them! The BaHa
men came out next! They were all right, not a cheesy as I thought they were
gonna be! I really like the slow song they sang, but I cannot remember what
the name of it is! It was somewhat tortuous to sit through Who Let The Dogs
Out but it could have been worse! After the Baha men was 98º!! They did so
good! I was freaking out! It was my first 98º concert so I didn't know
exactly what to expect from them! They were absolutely awesome! I loved it!
They started out w/ The Way You Want Me To, and then went to He'll Never Be!
After that I forget the order of the songs but they did Heaven's Missing an
Angel, I Do, If She Only Knew, a cover of Wild Wild West (which I loved
because I am madly in love w/ Will Smith! It was my 2 favorite things
combined, Will Smith and 98º)! They also did Heat It Up, Stay the Night,
Invisible Man, Because of You, My Everything! They ended w/ Una Noche and The
Hardest Thing! I loved the concert it was awesome! The guys were up there for
like and hour and like 10-15 minutes! It was a good set! They looked amzing!
They had 3 costume changes, a camoufalge looking deal, all white (they looked
so sexy in all white), and a red and black deal! Thank God for leather pants!
LOL Over all the concert was great! I loved the songs they choose and the way
the sang them! I love how the did Heaven's Missing an Angel! They did so
well! I almost cried, they sang it so beautifully! The dancers were wicked
cool! I liked their moves alot! 98º aren't the best dancer but they looked so
sexy when they were shacking their bums and trying to dance! LOL It was a
awesome concert! I loved it! I had so much fun! I cannot wait till I can see
them again! I got some pictures but because I didn't know if the centrum
allowed professional cameras I just brought a one use cameras so my pics
aren't that great! (Except my picture of the twin back up dancers when they
posed for me! They are so fine)! After the concert me and Leah were out side
by the tour buses after the concert and one of 98º crew guys came and got on
one of the buses and he had a bunch of the guys sweat towels and a few other
things and a couple chicks were begging for the towels so the road crew guy
opened the bus window and asked if girls if they wanted one of them and he
held up one of the towels was said this is nicks and showed us his name on
it when i saw that I like ran over to the bus and told the crew guy who had
the towel that it was my birthday (which was true, the concert was one of my
birthday presents) and I made myself cry and look really pathetic and they
guy said that I could have it started to hand me the towel and some fat chick
tried to snatch it from my hand and she wouldn't let go! We fought over it
for like ten minutes, we were shoving each other and pushing and stepping on
each other feet! LOL The crew guys watched out the window and laughed at us
fighting! finally after cursing me out to the high heavens the girl gave up!
So I have one of nicks towels! it smells kinda gross! LOL I can't believe I
fought over a towel! I felt so cheesy like the biggest teenybopper! But it
paid of in the end! LOL i didn't let go of the towel the whole rest of the
night, even when i went into stores and to go eat i had it w/ me! I was so
cheesy! After the whole towel thing we saw some guy who worked for the
centrum center guarding the door were the guys were supposedly coming out of
but he got locked out of the place and he was walking around to another
entrance and me and my friend went up to him because no one was around him
and we started taking to him and flirting (he was kinda cute LOL) and then
started asking him about 98º and he was like they are all pricks (i yelled at
him for saying that) and he hated them so he didn't care about them so he was
gonna let us know where they were so he told us where the guys really were
and the exit they were gonna use and they were leaving in like 5 minutes to
go to their hotel so if we wanna see them we better run, and he also told us
what kinda car the guys would be leaving in and where the guys were staying!
(it pays to flirt)! so me and my friend ran around to the exit where the guys
were and we got there a little too late we saw the door close to their car
and it pull out of the center so we ran to out car and followed the car to
the hotel, at the hotel we got kicked out of the parking lot so we had to go
look for a place to park and we lost sight of the car! once we found a place
to park we went into the hotel and looked around the hotel, we heard some
people walking by talking about seeing Leah and the other 98º dancers so we
asked them about it and they said they got to see them but they went up to
their rooms! then we saw and heard a hotel person calling security so we just
left! I didn't get to meet the guys but I had a good time! I have great
memories of my first 98º concert! I hope my long story didn't bore anyone! |
