I went to see a 98º Revelation concert
again on August 23rd! And I got to
meet the guys the next day!
Here is my story:
Me (Jackie) and my friend Leah got to the concert venue like 3:30 and it
sucked because we couldn't go any where or see anything or sneak any where!
So we left and ate and walked around a strip mall! We got back to the place
and they opened the doors and we walked around till the concert started!
Before the actual concert outside of the actually concert stage there was
some lame girl, Juliet, trying to sing and stuff! She sucked! It sounded like
she was singing along w/ her CD! Like w/ the full vocals on it and
everything, not just the music! But whatever! The concert started at 7 and PYT came out! They were OK, I didn't like them all that much! I thought they
were to cheesy and fake! Willa Ford or somebody else was supposed to be there
but they weren't! I heard some staff people talking about an opening act that
were supposed to be there but they couldn't afford it or something like that!
But that's OK I was only concerned about 98º! :) They guys came out and did
the normal set, I forget the order though! They did, TWYWMT, I Do, Stay The
Night, Dizzy, BOY, If She Only Knew, Invisible Man, Una Noche, The Hardest
Thing, the Wild Wild West cover, and my absolute favorite Heavens Missing an
Angel! As usual they were incredible! I had 15th row but I was almost all the
way to the right and most of what I saw was sound equipment! : ( So I moved!
First me and my friend moved the other end of our row and those seats were
way better and then we moved again up like 3 or 4 rows in to the middle
section! Those seat were wicked good! We were there for the whole 98º set!
It was awesome! I took like a roll and half of pics! lol After the concert me
and my friend left and tried to sneak in to different places to see the guys
but got yelled at to much and so we just left! When I got home I went on the
98º message boards on the official site and was just posting and reading
stuff and one girl said she was going to see the guys in CT the next day! I
looked on like Lycos and stuff to see how far it was and I saw it was only
like 3 hours away! So I asked the girl on the MB about what was going on and
I called Leah at like 1 am and asked her how far she was willing to drive to
meet 98º and she was like Huh? So I explain what was going on and she was all
for it! So we got up early the morning and headed to CT! It was like over 3
hours to the place were the guys were! They were at a small car dealership in
a small dull town in CT! it was very weird that they were there! But I heard
that they were doing a favor to the owner of the place! Just when me and my
friend were pulling in to the place so was the guys! My and my friend got to
the very end of the HUGE line! After a couple mins I had my friend walk over
to a couple of girls towards the beginning of the line and asked them if we
could get in line with them! They girls were so nice, they let us in and me
and Leah skipped over 3/4 of the line! They started letting people in at
12:20 and me and Leah and out new friends didn't get in till about 1:30! But
when we got in Drew was first in line and I said hey and shook his hand! Nick
was next and as he was signing my stuff I was like "I was ay your concert in
Boston last night!" he said "really! was it good id you have fun?" I was like
"yea it was so much fun! I just drove almost 200 mile to be here today!" he
smiled and was like" no way! thank you!" and my friend was like "ooh! can we
get a pic w/ you?" and of course he said yes and we tried to pose so we could
get in the pic w/ him but we were getting pushed along and yelled at! But
Justin was next but because I was getting pushed along I didn't get to talk
to him or say anything more than hi! Jeff was last and I didn't get to shake
his hand either because some guy was yelling at me! But he said hi and winked
at me when another guy yelled at me for not keeping up w/ the stuff I was
having signed! lol (I got yelled at a lot!) But It was very fun! They are
very nice, and WAY cute in person! :) I got a bunch of pics! I tried to get
more but once again I got yelled at for taking to many pics and holding up
the line! lol But I ended up geting my revelation cover and my concert book
thing signed by all of the guys! Over all I had the best time! They concert
was awesome and meeting the guys for the first time was incredible! :).
