July 25, 1999 Concert Review

Main

I went to the All That Music And More Fest on July 25th, 1999 at Irvine Meadows Ampitheater. This was an amazing concert, perhaps the best I've ever been to! I enjoyed it because 98 Degrees was great! They had the entire crowd dancing and singing and clapping and screaming. None of the other acts could get everybody up off their butts. It's so cool to see guys dancing along to 98 Degrees when you'd never ever hear them admit that they like their songs or anything like that. The acts that came before 98 Degrees were alright. I enjoyed Monica and Tatyana Ali the most. EYC and No Authority were good but they only sang like 3 songs each. Aaron Carter was tolerable, he appeals to a younger audience - 12 and under. The kiddies seemed to like him. No Authority was good, but performed while there was virtually no one in the audience. Most of the people enjoyed B*Witched - well the little girls did at least. The highlight for most everyone was definitly 98 Degrees. I was toward the front of the audience for 98 Degrees' performance and I think that made it a lot better, although I loved their first concert I went to which had worse seats. But I really had a great time at this concert. It was well worth the $43.10 for my ticket! 98 Degrees sang these songs (I can't remember what the order was):
Heat It Up
Fly With Me
Pretty Fly For a White Guy by Offspring
My Name Is...[98º] by Eminem
I Do (Cherish You)
Do You Wanna Dance
Because Of You
Superstition by Stevie Wonder
True To Your Heart
1999 by Prince
Invisible Man
The Hardest Thing
