New Way for Stars to Keep Truckin'

DETROIT, Jan. 28 - Ashton Kutcher's got a CXT.
So does the Toronto Raptors
forward Jalen Rose. Jay Leno and Nick Lachey, star of MTV's
"Newlyweds," have each taken one for a test drive. And West Coast
Customs, the body shop from MTV's "Pimp My Ride," is already calling
itself the "official customizer" of the CXT. [read

1/18/2005 Jive Inks Nick Lachey to Solo Deal
This from Billboard.com:
Nick Lachey has signed with Jive Records, which
is expected to release his second solo album later this year. Lachey was
previously signed Universal Records, which issued his first solo set, "SoulO,"
in November 2003.
As
previously reported, MTV will air a reality show on Lachey's solo career
and the making of his album. The show is tentatively scheduled to premiere in
April. Lachey already stars with his wife, Jessica Simpson, in the MTV reality
series "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica."
"SoulO" peaked at No. 51 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 160,000
copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
In related news, MTV has inked a deal with Cameron Diaz for a reality
adventure series, "Trippin'," that will feature the actress and
others traveling to exotic locations. DMX, Kid Rock, Mark Hoppus of Blink-182
and Redman are among the music artists who will be featured on the program,
which premieres March 28.

1/13/2005 Drew honored by Cosmopolitan
Josh Duhamel, star of NBC's Las Vegas,
has been named Cosmopolitan's 2005 Fun Fearless Male of the Year. Joining the
ranks of past honorees Jon Bon Jovi and Matthew Perry, Duhamel has the perfect
combination of A-list talent, knee weakening good looks, and irresistible
charm.
Also being honored in the February issue are
Taye Diggs, Kevin Bacon, P. Diddy, Benjamin McKenzie, David Spade, Drew Lachey,
Bill Hemmer, Carson Kressley and Simon Cowell.
Drew Lachey: Nick's little brother and Rent star on his Broadway debut:
"Coming to Broadway from the pop world is daunting. There are critics
who want you to fail and want to take potshots at you. Rightly so: If you're a
name coming into a show, you have to hold your own. If you can't, you deserve
the criticism."

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2005 has arrived and I want to wish you
all the best in the new year. 98 Degrees, this goes for you, too!
Your fans look forward to seeing more of all of you because it really makes us
happy. So, in the new year
I'll try to keep this site up-to-date, and online... which is sometimes much
easier said than done. And
just a quick note: I'm going out of town until the 8th. So please
